Jessie James

You may recognize Jessie James from Channel 7’s, Caravan & Camping WA, Fresh TV, Fresh Escapes and WA Weekender (and various others) where she smiles her way around WA and the world.

She’s a sought-after MC who brings an effervescence to the stage no matter how big or small the audience.

Jessie spent ten years on Mix 94.5FM as a radio announcer hosting shows like ‘The Nightmix’ and ‘Partymix’ and was a breakfast radio producer for Hit 92.9/Mix 94.5FM.

Now, she’s at 6PR on-air with her weekly segment ‘What’s On’ on the ‘Afternoons’ show and is a casual traffic reporter.

Trained at WAAPA (TV/Radio) and NIDA (Acting), it’s fair to say Jessie loves the spotlight! Her list of musical theatres productions is going strong. In 2021 she performed at Crown Theatre Perth as Elle’s Mum in ‘Legally Blonde’ and 2020 for Ben Elton’s ‘We Will Rock You’. 2019 was Regal Theatre’s ‘The Wizard of Oz’ (Ms. Gulch) and she was also a part of Gordon Frost’s ‘The Sound of Music’ at Crown Theatre Perth in 2016.
