Yes. All our acts are fully insured with minimum $20 million public liability insurance.

2
Is there a deposit required, and what are your payment terms?

Yes. We require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure anact. The remaining 50% is due 14 days before your event. Please check our T&C page for a full list of booking, payment and performance conditions.

I’m keen on a few acts, can I place them on a tentative hold?

Yes! You can ‘hold’ our acts for 21 days. During this time the act will remain available for you whilst you finalise details of your event.

4
Will I need to supply a meal for the act?

That depends on how many hours you require the performer.  If it’s a short 30 min performance at a wedding ceremony, no need to supply food however if the act will be on site all day/night, then yes, we’d ask that a supplier meal is organised for the act. You’ll find more specific detail in our T&C’s.

5
Do you charge GST?

Yes, our quotes include GST.

6
Do you pay your acts superannuation?

Yes. We follow the most recent legislation from the Australian Tax Office which requires our contractors to be paid an 11%superannuation contribution.

7
I’ve never booked a band before, is there anything I should know?

Booking a band with several members can feel little overwhelming. That’s where we come in!
We’ll work with you to program the bands ‘set times’ to suit your event. We’ll then schedule the musicians ‘sound check’, arrange all the technical requirements and inductions with the venue, run through song lists appropriate for your guests, put you in contact with the band leader and ensure everything is planned well ahead of time.

8
Does a band need to sound check?... what’s a sound check?!

Yes. We always arrange for our bands to sound check before an event. Usually the band/act will arrive, setup and sound check approx. 2 hours before doors are opened

9
If I book a duo from 6pm – 9pm will they play continuously over the 3 hours?

No. Usually musicians will play for 45 mins with a 15 min break. This, however is very flexible. We work with you to ensure a) a great experience for you and your guests and b) sufficient rest time between sets for our artists.

10
Are your artists prepared to travel if it’s a destination wedding/event?

Yes! Our acts often travel for events, functions and weddings. We simply add a provision for travel/idle time, petrol costs and accommodation expenses.

11
How far in advance should we book an act?

Short answer; as early as possible. Our top wedding/corporate bands are in high demand and are often booked out 12 – 18 months in advance. We suggest starting the search for your ideal entertainment as soon as you’ve booked in your venue

12
I want to book a band, will they bring their own sound and lighting equipment?

Yes. For weddings and small corporate events, we’ll always quote to include sound and lighting. For larger scale events, sound/lighting will usually need to be supplied by an external AV company. In both situations, we’ll make you aware of all the production options and costs.
